A historic battle | The Kargil war!

We all know about the Kargil war.

The Kargil War, which began in May 1999, ended in July.
On 26 July 1999, India won the Kargil War against Pakistan.

In this battle, the Indian Army forced the enemy to retreat with unwavering courage, strategy and very modern weapons.

Our soldiers used various weapons during the Kargil war.
Among them was, the boffors hautzer which is called, FH-77B

These 155 mm hauitzas were shown to be very effective in targeting enemies camp in high areas.

The power and accuracy of these guns destroyed the enemies of the enemy.
The MiG-21, MiG-27 and Mirage-2000 fighter jets were main.
The Indian Air Force used the Mirage-2000 aircraft for the first time during the Kargil War.
These aircraft dropped laser bombs and destroyed the enemy’s targets.
The Mirage-2000 accuracy and the power of flying at a higher altitude changed the course of war.
It enabled the enemies like Tiger Hills, Tolling and Mushkoh.

It was accompanied by a 5.56 mm INSAS rifle
The Indian Army soldiers had a rifle of the newly arrived I ,(Indian Small Arms System) rifle at the time.
These rifles were light, accurate and automatically shooting.

AK-47 and (Light Machine Gun) were used in the Kargil war.
Some Indian Army soldiers also had an AK-47 rifle, which proved to be very effective in close fights against the enemy.

LMG was also used to suppress the position of the enemy.

The Indians used mortars and grenade launchers in the Kargil war.
The Indian Army destroyed Pakistani bunkers and posts using 81 MM and 120 MM mortars.

Also , the Indian Army used anti-tank guided missiles
The Indian Army also used anti-tank guided missiles to destroy the enemy’s bunkers and posts.
This missile helped to demolish the strong enemy of the enemy.
In this battle, the Indian Army used the sniper rifle to respond to the enemy in the high mountains.
This targeted the chief and important soldiers of the enemy.

The Indian Army used another terrible weapon during the Kargil War , called
Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Lawkers
This system destroyed the enemy camp.
Pinaka was able to throw 161 rockets with a distance of 40 km.

In addition to weapons in the Kargil war, the Indian Army used technology like communication tools, night vision equipment, satellite images, etc.
This helped to detect the enemy’s location and develop strategies.
