Eight people including four children were rescued, two puppies died of suffocation


A very sad news has come from the elite area of ​​Delhi’s New Friends Colony. Two puppies died in a terrible fire in a residential house in the area on Sunday afternoon. The incident spread panic in the area. Firefighters received a call about the incident around 3:40 pm and rescue teams rushed to the spot. Firefighters responded and rescued eight people trapped inside the home.

Fire station officer Phul Singh Meena said that they received the report of the fire at 3:38 pm. When the fire truck reached the spot, the entire three-storey house was filled with toxic and thick smoke. People trapped inside were begging for their lives through the windows. Given the gravity of the situation, firefighters immediately launched a high-risk rescue operation with the help of ladders.

The team worked very smartly and rescued a total of eight persons, including four children and four adults, safely with the help of ladders. The rescuers were in critical condition due to the smoke but survived. Tragically, two innocent puppies inside the house suffocated and died on the spot.

Fire Officer Meena MdPreliminary investigation revealed that the fire started from an air conditioner or AC on the upper ground floor It is suspected that the AC exploded due to short circuit or overheating, which took a terrible turn within minutes and the entire house’s furniture went up in flames.

A total of four fire engines were deployed from the fire station to douse the fire and save lives. The fire was brought under control by the efforts of the fire service. Cooling of the house has been completed and the police and fire brigade are investigating the exact cause of the accident. After this tragic incident, the family and neighbors of the deceased are in deep grief and fear.
