Even advanced radar is not caught! Putin offers Su-57 fighter jets to India, raises concerns over China and Pakistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that they are fully ready to supply Su-57 fighter jets to India. Putin’s proposal comes at a time when New Delhi is looking for fifth-generation fighter jets to bolster its defences. He also said that Moscow has agreed to transfer important technology for India’s advanced defense system.

Putin told reporters that Russia had earlier offered India to jointly develop Su-57 fighter jets. But in 2018, India withdrew from the project. According to PutinThe Indian friends then told them to go their separate ways and left open the possibility of working together in the future. Now the Russians have developed the aircraft themselves but they are still interested in working with India. Through these comments, Putin is trying to convince the West that there can be no barriers to defense cooperation between the two countries.

The Su-57 fighter jet is designed by the Russian Sukhoi Design BureauCan accurately hit any target on land and sea. The aircraft has the capability to fight 24 hours, day and night even in extreme weather and electronic warfare conditions. Most importantly, it has low visibility, meaning it can easily evade even the most advanced enemy radar. According to experts, India’s acquisition of such powerful fighter jets will surely give China and Pakistan sleepless nights.

Russia also stands by its friend India in the ongoing tariff war with the US. “India is currently one of the best and fastest growing economies in the world. This is possible due to the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the hard work of the Indian government. Putin praised India for trying to build bilateral relations with most of the world while protecting its national interests and this is a very fruitful step,” Putin told a press conference.
