A heartbreaking reality. A woman wails in a crowd of mourning women in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district. He cried inwardly. Screaming in pain, he almost fainted. The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Arun Kumar and 19-year-old Arun Kumar. Police are investigating the incident. The police are now claiming that the woman who is busy expressing her grief is the main conspirator of the brutal murder.
Four members of the family, one of whom was a former panchayat head, were killed first in the horrific incident in Rajasthan, police said. The bodies were then loaded into a Scorpio SUV and burnt. In this way they want to show that the incident was an accident.
The incident took place in Barada police station area of Ajmer district. The deceased were identified as 20-year-old Arun Kumar (19) and 20-year-old Arun Kumar (19) of Cherampura village. It was found about 60 km from Ajmer city and just 500 meters from the former panchayat president’s house.
Four bodies were recovered from inside the car. Three of them were burnt inside the car. Another body was recovered from a nearby field, police said.
The identity of the deceased has already been known. Among them are former panchayat president Ram Singh Chowdhury, mother Pushi Devi, second wife Suryajyan Devi and his aunt’s daughter Mahima Chowdhury.
According to Ajmer Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Aggarwal, the killers first brought the body from their house in a car. They later put him in a Scorpio and set it on fire in an attempt to destroy the sign.
Police initially suspected the incident to be an accident. However, forensic tests and investigations revealed a series of discrepancies.
An investigating officer said: “The marks of injury on the body make it look like it was a murder. Evidence and local information slowly reveal the truth.”
According to police sources, Ram Singh’s first wife Sunita was at home at the time of the incident. She was mourning with other village women. She was pretending to break down screaming.
Police claimed it was a complete act. A police officer said, “She was crying as if she had completely broken down. Initially no one suspected.”
He initially told the police that Ram Singh had taken his mother to the hospital for chest pain.
Later investigations revealed that Ram Singh and his first wife Sunita had a long-standing family dispute over their second marriage. His wife and family members lived in the same house.
“There was a heated dispute between the family over the second marriage. Investigation revealed that the first wife and her children had a quarrel with Ram Singh and his mother,” SP Aggarwal said.
According to the police, there was a fierce fight inside the house on Wednesday night. Which later turned into a bloody murder.
Investigators claimed that Sunita, along with her daughter Sarita and minor son took part in the stabbing. The attack took place inside the house. The body is then taken to the car and burned, making it look like an accident.
