Speaking to GPlus, a Jal Board official said, “Very soon we will be setting up a call centre. The proposal has been submitted and we are hoping to begin that soon.”
While details regarding the launch date and operational framework are yet to be announced, the proposal is currently under consideration.
The planned call centre is expected to provide a single point of contact between consumers and the Jal Board, as the agency continues its efforts to expand and manage water supply services across Guwahati.
Officials, however, have not specified when the proposal is likely to receive approval or when the facility will become operational.
