According to the victim, a speeding car almost hit his bike on the Six Mile road. When he reportedly asked the driver to “drive properly,” the situation escalated. The victim alleged that the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated, stepped out of the vehicle and assaulted him with a metal bat nearly seven times.

Speaking to GPlus, the victim claimed that he did not retaliate or argue further as several other youths were also present inside the car.

Speaking to GPlus, a local who was present at the spot during the incident said that he was nearby when he heard repeated sounds of something being struck with a rod. As he approached the area, he allegedly saw the car driver assaulting the man with a metal bat.

The local further stated that the victim was fortunate to be wearing a helmet at the time, otherwise the injuries could have been far more serious. He added that when nearby residents tried to intervene and catch the accused, the car sped away from the scene.

Another eyewitness also claimed that the car had first hit the bike before the driver allegedly attacked the biker, despite the victim not being at fault.
