Arunodoi 3.0 is the largest initiative of the Government of Assam led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma to empower women in the state.
The ‘Arunodoi 3.0’ is launched in the state today with the aim of strengthening the basic economy in Assam. More than 3.8 million women will benefit from this scheme. This new edition will benefit more than 3.8 million women, which will bring about a significant change in the socio-economic environment of the state. The Chief Minister launched the ‘Arunodoi 3.0’ at the Khanapara Veterinary College grounds. There are millions of women in the state. 30 lakh beneficiaries will get Rs 1,250 each.
The CM, including all ministers and MLAs, attended the event. The event was attended by the beneficiaries from different parts of the country. Inauguration at the same time at more than 25,000 locations. The Chief Minister said that the biggest scheme of independent India is Arunodoi. Through this scheme, women will receive Rs. 1250 directly in their bank accounts per month and will also receive Rs. 250 each under the Chief Minister’s affordable fuel scheme. Ration will be available from 1st November through ration. 250 each for cooking gas will be received by Arunodoi beneficiaries. The CM also gave good news for the people of BTC. 6 lakh women in BTC will receive Arunodoi money, it will require another month.
