Mirza-Palashbari road accident; Four youths were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles


Four youths were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles on Palashbari’s Mirza-Palashbari road on Sunday morning.

The accident took place around 2 pm near Bajrapara amid heavy rain. According to reports, five youths collided with each other while riding on two motorcycles.

After the incident, the injured were shifted to Mirza Hospital. After the incident, the injured were shifted to Mirza Hospital. On reaching there, the doctors declared the three dead.

The deceased are Jyoti Kalita of Baruapara in Majhirgaon, Nikhil Das of Dokanipara in Rangamati and Chandan Jana of West Bengal.

Two others, Dipankar Kalita and Arnav Barman, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for further treatment.

One of the injured died in hospital on Sunday morning, bringing the death toll to four.

This incident has cast a shadow of mourning on the area. The deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Arun Kumar and 18-year-old Arun Kumar.
