Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Assam for a two-day programme. According to the first day, the Prime Minister arrived on December 20 in the presence of Adani and inaugurated the new terminal of the popular Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. The new terminal of the Borjhar airport is being built on the model of parrots of Assam. The airport in Guwahati will be available to 13 million passengers a year. The Chief Minister said arrangements have also been made for the construction of new terminals at the airport.

The 80-foot-tall statue of Gopinath Bardoli was unveiled at the new terminal. Then he delivered a speech at a huge public meeting. The Prime Minister then conducted a road show from Borjhar airport to Bajpai Bhawan in Bashishta. The Prime Minister was welcomed by the people of Assam since the beginning and the road show was equally respected. There are 1000+ jobs in the country.
The Prime Minister was welcomed by millions of people gathered from various places. The Prime Minister later held a meeting with party workers at the BJP state office. The first day of the program was held at the State Guest House of Kainadhar.
