The 2017 International Arts Festival is a 2017 FIFA World Cup. The event ended successfully with a two-day programme.
The festival was organized in collaboration with Nataraj Kala Kendra and Revy International Organization. The event was held at the Shuwalkuchi Public Hall. Several artists were honored. International folk artist Ranjit Gogoi was awarded the Shuwalkuchi Kala Shiromani Award. Sahitya Akademi Award winner Ustad Bismillah Khan Dimpi Rani Vaishya was awarded the Arts Award. The award was presented to prominent social worker Dinmani Bhandar Kaystha.
The second day of the “Shuwalkuchi Kala Festival” was attended by Mr. Hemant Chowdhury, Special Duty Officer of the popular Chief Minister of Assam.
