The Andhra Pradesh government has taken this new initiative to balance the state’s future population and increase the number of working youth.
Reacting to this decision, Chief Minister Naidu made it clear, It is time to change the previous concept of population control. The birth rate in South Indian states has fallen well below the national average, raising serious fears of a shortage of young people in the future. so, The government has decided to scrap the earlier two-child policy to encourage people to have more children. He said the government is preparing to provide financial assistance or other government benefits to eligible families through this new scheme.

However, the rate of population growth has decreased dramatically in recent times and the number of elderly people in the society has increased abnormally. This has adversely affected the state’s economy and infrastructure and raised fears that the south Indian states will lose political representation during the upcoming Lok Sabha constituencies.
