WhatsApp services were also reportedly disrupted in some areas. Many users reported problems sending and receiving messages.
As of 7.26pm, 1,126 users had lodged complaints that they had problems with meter service on the Downdetector website, which collects data on service problems online. But there is no clear information about the exact cause of the problem.
