Abhishek appealed to the Tripura High Court to avoid arrest. What did the court say?


Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has appealed to the Tripura High Court to avoid arrest. The court heard the case on Friday and gave an important order. The court ordered Abhishek Banerjee not to appear before the police or the court till August as the next hearing in the sensitive case will be held on the same day.‘B.

In early August 2011, Trinamool Congress youth leadership was blocked on the streets while attending a party function in Tripura. The youth leaders were then arrested by the police and other senior leaders including Abhishek Banerjee and Kunal Ghosh staged a sit-in at the Khawai police station demanding the release of the arrested.

Arrested leaders were produced in the court as the case was filed under non-bailable section and Abhishek Banerjee was sitting in the police station watching the situation. After the party leaders got bail, he lashed out at the Tripura government. Tripura Police has filed a case against Trinamool Congress for the strike. The court issued summons to Abhishek Banerjee in the same case and he approached the Tripura High Court fearing arrest.

Abhishek Banerjee has been accused of corruptionFor which he was under the surveillance of the Central Bureau of Investigation for a long time. He has been questioned by central agencies in recent signature forgery and teacher recruitment scams. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has also withdrawn its legal protection in defamation cases. There is no doubt that the legal crisis of the top Trinamool leader has increased.
