The Civil Services or UPSC exam in India is considered to be the toughest exam in the world. Millions of youth of the country prepare for this exam for years but very few candidates succeed in it. But there are some exceptional candidates who have cleared this tough exam not just once but multiple times.
Roma Srivastava of Jharkhand AOr one of the most successful women. He cleared the UPSC exam not once or twice but thrice in four years and is currently serving as an IAS officer.
Most notably, Roma did not use a coaching center for the tests. He has achieved this remarkable success by preparing at home himself, which is a unique example for the current UPSC examinees. dangi holds.
Roma Srivastava, a gifted resident of Jharkhand, initially earned a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Raipur. He then started preparing for the CAT exam and cleared it and completed his MBA in Marketing from IIM Indore. Roma also got a good job as Assistant Manager in Coal India after completing her education. But this work did not give complete satisfaction to Roma. Since then he decided to prepare for the civil services exam.
Usually students take admission in some coaching center for better preparation of UPSC exam. But Roma was an exception. He started full preparations at home. He used YouTube video lectures to easily master the subjects which were difficult to understand while studying. In 2016, he appeared for the UPSC exam for the first time but failed. In 2017, he sat the exam for the second time and passed with distinction. This time he got an opportunity to work in Indian Postal and Telecom Services.
Roma was recruited into the Indian Postal and Telecom Service but his real aim was to become an IAS officer. So he continued his preparation and this time appeared for the UPSC exam for the third time and got the rank of IPS officer with a very good rank. But his real dream was yet to be fulfilled. Finally, in his fourth attempt in 2019, Roma cleared UPSC with an All India rank of 70th and finally fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS officer. In an interview, Roma said that he practiced the old exam papers very carefully and took the mock test several times. As a result, Roma Srivastava has set a great example by clearing the UPSC exam three times in four years.
