A court in Patna has extended protection from arrest to popular teacher Faizal Khan alias Khan Sir in connection with the firing at his coaching institute. The court has ordered that he cannot be arrested in this case till June 30. His lawyer told the media this information.
The incident happened in early June. According to allegations, some miscreants ransacked Khan Sir’s coaching institute and then opened fire on his security guards. Khan sir’s name was included in the complaint in the case and on June 9 the court granted him temporary immunity from arrest.
During the last hearing, the investigating officer of the police submitted a diary containing the latest facts of the case to the court. The court ordered further hearing and arguments in the case on Tuesday. Until then, no strict action will be taken against Khan sir, said Advocate Arvind Kumar Mowar.
Apart from this, the case filed against Khan Sir’s security guards in the same incident will also be heard on the same day. Khan is fully cooperating with the police investigation, his lawyer said.
