After losing two T20I series in a row, India are going to play a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. Accordingly, Team India has already flown to Zimbabwe.
However, the responsibility of the Zimbabwe series has been given to another coach instead of the head coach Gautam Gambhir. He will serve as the coach of the Indian team in the three-match series. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is also a member of the Indian team for this series.
Gautam Gambhir has been removed from the post of head coach of the Indian team. India lost the T20 series first against Ireland and then against England. India has dropped from the top spot to the second spot in the International Cricket Council’s T20 rankings.
The role of head coach Gautam Gambhir has been repeatedly questioned. No one stopped criticizing this man for the party’s defeat. It is also heard that there will be no serious Indian coach in the Zimbabwe series. In fact, the Indian Cricket Board has sent VVS Laxman as the head coach of Team India for this Zimbabwe series.
Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir has been rested for the time being. However, there is no clear information about whether he will be removed from the post of head coach or not. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has uploaded pictures of India’s exit from the Zimbabwe series on social media.
Pictures shared on BCCI’s social media handles show Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Tilak Verma and VVS Laxman. However, several familiar faces were missing from Team India.

Captain Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dubey, Harsh Dubey, Ishan Kishan and Prince Yadav will arrive in Zimbabwe after the ODI series against England.
