Iran is angry at the continuous attacks of the United States. They are targeting US bases scattered across the Middle East. Tehran launched a missile and drone attack on Jordan on Saturday. Two US soldiers were killed in this incident. Washington launched airstrikes against Iran in retaliation.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement that two US soldiers were killed in Jordan in an attack by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The US launched a new campaign in Tehran to punish them and stop Iran’s aggression in the Strait of Hormuz.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said: “We are saddened by the death of two US servicemen in an Iranian attack in Jordan. Their sacrifice will only strengthen our resolve.”
An Iranian media report said the US strike hit an area near the southern port city of Sirik. US forces also attacked near Hajiabad. Kesham Island was also attacked. However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned Washington between attacks and counter-attacks. He said, “Iran and its allies will teach the United States the right lesson. Washington has broken the memorandum of understanding signed. President Donald Trump’s signature is worthless.”
