GUWAHATI: A 16-year-old boy, Ankit Giri, has gone missing after reportedly leaving home for tuition on the morning of July 2. He is a resident of Tokobari Satra on A.T. Road in Guwahati.

According to his family, Ankit usually leaves home for tuition at around 6 AM. However, on the day he went missing, he reportedly left earlier than usual. He was last seen on CCTV footage near Gate No. 2 at Lakhtakia, Guwahati, walking alone.
Speaking to GPlus, the Officer-in-Charge of Panbazar Police Station confirmed the missing person case and said an investigation is underway. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from different parts of the city to trace Ankit's movements. Officials also said he has not been spotted at the railway station, ruling out one possible lead so far.
Authorities have urged residents of Lakhtakia, A.T. Road and nearby areas to share any information that could help trace the missing teenager. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been requested to contact Panbazar Police Station immediately.
