Homework’ Enters Third Week, Witnesses Rise in Shows Amid Positive Audience Response


 

Assamese film Homework, which was released on May 15, continues to gain momentum at the box office and has now entered its third week in theatres, drawing encouraging responses from audiences across the state.

Speaking to GPlus, producer Mukesh Mour said that the film has witnessed a 25% increase in the number of shows in Guwahati due to growing audience demand. He added that viewers have been responding positively to the film, with many expressing a strong emotional connection to its association with singer Zubeen Garg.

One of the major highlights of the film is its recreated version of Jantra, rendered by Zubeen Garg. The song has struck a chord with fans and music lovers across Assam, adding an emotional appeal to the film and significantly boosting public interest. The track has also been receiving positive reactions online and has contributed to the film’s increasing popularity.

The enthusiasm surrounding Homework has been evident during promotional events, where audiences have shown strong support and appreciation for the project. Beyond its music, the film has also garnered attention for its talented cast and experienced production team.

The film stars Debajit Majumder, Hiranya Deka, Debajit Hazarika, Podmaraag Goswami, Chinmay Chakraborty, Rimpi Das, and Gayatri Mahanta. It also features child artists Surjanga Jeeu Margherita, Brityanta Nayan Kashyap, and Alankrita Podmaraag Goswami.
