There is good news for the youth looking for government jobs. Indian Railways has vacancies for several posts. Railway Recruitment Board recently released a recruitment notification. A total of 6,557 posts will be filled as per the notification. Of these, 224 posts have been allotted to Kolkata, 76 to Malda and 94 to Siliguri. Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts will be recruited.
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 19,900 to Rs 29,200 depending on the post. Candidates should have Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Science or Engineering to apply for these posts. Candidates who have obtained ITI certificate after passing 10th class can also apply. Candidates should be between 18 to 30 years or 18 to 33 years. As per government rules, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation.
To complete the recruitment process, candidates will have to give a computer-based test aka CBT. After that the final candidates will be selected through document verification and health test.
