The authority advised people to exercise caution while travelling through the hilly areas of Kamrup Metropolitan district, especially around Maligaon and Pandu, due to the possibility of further landslide incidents.

The DDMA also stated that traffic movement on Kamakhya Temple Main Road may be regulated following repeated landslide incidents in the area. Such restrictions could cause delays for devotees travelling to the temple.

Residents requiring assistance during flood or landslide-related emergencies have been asked to contact the DDMA Control Room at 9365429314.
