The Center has taken strict measures after the question paper leak scam. But, what’s the point? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been found guilty of negligence. Re-NEET UG 2026 to be held in June NTA has allotted an examination center in Abu Dhabi for Re-NEET UG 2026 examination to a candidate from Nagpur.
Serious irregularities were noticed after candidate Abdullah Mohammad Talib downloaded the ‘Re-NEET 2026’ admit card from the official website. Talib was supposed to take the exam at a center in India but the admit card mentioned an exam center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Abdullah applied for the exam from Nagpur. He hoped to find a center in the country. It is almost impossible for candidates to travel abroad and appear for exams due to lack of passport.
A screenshot of Abdullah Mohammad Talib’s ‘Re-NEET 2026’ admit card has gone viral. It shows that an Indian school in Abu Dhabi has been mentioned as the test centre. Later the matter came to the notice of NTA officials.
The NTA officials admitted their mistake after receiving the news. The issue has been described as a technical glitch. The organization has assured the candidate’s family that necessary corrective measures will be taken and revised admit cards will be issued along with the correct examination center.
Sources close to the candidate’s family said they received an email from the NTA. The error is confirmed to be fixed by Saturday evening.
NTA recommends that any discrepancy related to personal data, examination center or other important information be reported to the authorities immediately. The Re-NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on June 21 from 2 pm to 5:15 pm in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates have to carry their admit card and other prescribed documents to the examination centre.
