Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has been accused of spreading fake and deeply fake videos on social media‘approached the Bombay High Court. The posts claimed that Gadkari and his family benefited financially from the government’s E20 ethanol program. The court allowed him to file civil cases against Meta and other social media platforms as well as unidentified individuals who spread false news.

About two weeks ago, a complaint was filed against four social media influencers in Nagpur for spreading false news on the same issue. Among them is popular YouTuber and politician Manish Kashyap, Instagram account Desi Boys, Names include Harshit Rathi and Anklesh Invati.
