GUWAHATI: A truck driver was killed, the handyman seriously injured, in a road accident on National Highway 27 near Betkuchi in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, after a speeding truck rammed into a stationary truck.

According to preliminary information, the collision occurred when the moving truck crashed into the stationary vehicle with significant force, causing extensive damage to the front portion of the truck.
“We are yet to ascertain the identities of the two,” a traffic police official from Garchuk branch said.
