Trisha Sharma’s death: HC orders post-mortem at Delhi AIIMS


The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued major orders in the mysterious death case of model and actress Trisha Sharma. According to the court’s latest verdict, a second post-mortem will be conducted on Trisha’s body. A team of expert doctors from Delhi AIIMS will conduct the autopsy. The decision of the High Court has taken a new turn in the death mystery that created a stir across the country.

Trisha’s family members alleged that the first postmortem report contained many inconsistencies and inconsistencies. Unsatisfied with the first report, they appealed to the High Court demanding a re-mortem. However, the lower court had earlier dismissed the family’s plea. The High Court finally agreed to their demand as the family members were adamant about their demand even after getting a glimpse of the body decomposing.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta was also present in the hearing. He told the court that the second post-mortem did not mean that the first report or the competence of the previous doctors was in question. Instead, this new investigation will increase trust and confidence among all parties involved in the case. Trisha’s lawyers claimed that the first post-mortem report omitted many important facts. The report did not include any details of Trisha’s injuries. There is also a significant discrepancy between Trisha’s height mentioned in the police diary and the height reported in the investigation report. According to the family, the rope or object with which Trisha was said to have died was not sent for testing during the first post-mortem.

In the middle of this whole incident, another big incident happened. Trisha’s husband Samarth Singh, the main accused in the case, withdrew the bail plea from the High Court. He told the court that instead of running away, he would surrender himself before the trial court and seek bail from there. Since Trisha’s death, Samarth was absconding and the police were looking for him.

Trisha Sharma died after just five months of marriage. Her body was recovered in May She was married to Samarth Singh, a lawyer by profession, in December the two met through a dating app in 2024 and later married. But Trisha’s parents complain that their daughter is being subjected to extreme physical and mental torture since marriage. Even her husband and in-laws constantly pressured her for dowry.

Trisha’s WhatsApp chat with her mother also revealed the entire abuse. There is clear evidence of her emotional distress in the messages, where she refers to herself as being trapped. According to family sources, Trisha was subjected to mental torture as she was not happy in the marriage. After the High Court orders a second probe, all eyes will be on the Delhi AIIMS report. This new report will clarify in the coming days whether Trisha’s death is really a suicide or there is a deeper conspiracy and other truth behind it.
