GUWAHATI: The Assam government has approved Administrative Approval for the utilisation of ₹2,100 crore allocated in the State Budget for 2026-27 for the land acquisition and development of the Aerotropolis Satellite City Project in Guwahati.

The funds have been provided under Grant No. 73 and will be used for acquiring land and undertaking development activities for the proposed satellite city. The project will be driven by the Guwahati Satellite Cities Development Authority (GSCDA).
The approval is part of the decisions taken at the State Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, August 11, at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Dispur.
The allocation will support land acquisition and development works for the Aerotropolis Satellite City Project.
