GUWAHATI: A CISF personnel has been suspended after allegedly taking photographs of a woman without her consent inside a Delhi Metro train, following a confrontation with passengers.

A video of the incident, which reportedly took place on Saturday night, has gone viral on social media. The footage shows the woman and other passengers confronting the CISF personnel and asking him to show the photos stored on his mobile phone.
The woman’s photographs were reportedly found in the phone’s gallery, following which passengers demanded that they be deleted. The situation reportedly escalated as some commuters attempted to take the phone while the CISF personnel resisted.
The incident was subsequently reported to the CISF. The force said the matter involved alleged misconduct towards a female passenger and was being viewed with “utmost seriousness.”
The concerned CISF personnel has been suspended with immediate effect, and a detailed inquiry has been ordered. The CISF said further action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
