The door-to-door verification drive will continue from June 30 to July 29, during which BLOs will visit households to distribute, verify and collect Enumeration Forms (EFs) as part of the electoral roll revision process.

According to the Election Commission's guidelines, BLOs will distribute Enumeration Forms, fill them wherever required while obtaining acknowledgements on the second copy, and collect duly completed forms during the enumeration period. If a house is found locked during a visit, the BLO will leave a slip and make up to three attempts to collect the completed Enumeration Form.

The month-long exercise is aimed at ensuring the accuracy of electoral rolls by verifying voter details and facilitating the inclusion of eligible electors.

The Election Commission has urged residents to cooperate with Booth Level Officers during the verification process and ensure that the required information and documents are made available to facilitate timely completion of the revision exercise.
