The investigation into the murder of 24-year-old businessman Ketan Vishal Agarwal at Pune’s historic Lohagarh Fort has revealed major truths. The murder of a famous Pune businessman is investigated by his fiance Shia Goel and her boyfriend Chetan Chowdhury.
Ketan was killed on June 18 by being pushed from the famous Lohagarh fort in Lonavala. Initially, Sia tried to explain that she ‘accidentally fell while taking pictures’ but police interrogation revealed the hidden truth.
The most sensational fact that emerged in the investigation was that on June 14 the Shias first tried to kill Ketan by pushing him off the hill, just four days before their ‘operation’ was successful on June 18! But Ketan miraculously survived! Why did Ketan doubt his future wife? Ketan’s father Vishal Agarwal revealed the secret.
According to the investigators, Siya had planned to kill Ketan long ago. On their first visit to Lohagarh Fort on 14 June, Siya took Ketan to the edge of a ravine and pushed him hard. However, during the journey, Ketan luckily survived by catching a tree branch and falling into a deep ditch.
Why didn’t Ketan suspect Siya after falling from the mountain and coming back alive? “When he came back alive on June 14, Shia made up a story for him. He assured him that a poisonous snake was right behind him! He rushed to save him from the snake. The story of the snake and the love act of the future wife were so perfect that Ketan could not doubt that the woman he loved,” was actually his huge Yamawal!
Police investigation revealed that Shea visited the Lohagarh fort with Ketan for the first time in May after seeing steep hills and deep moats, while he felt that Ketan could easily escape as an ‘accident’ if he was thrown from it. And as per that master plan, Siya along with her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary knocked out Ketan in June Both Siya and Chetan will be kept in police custody till June.
Ketan and Shia got engaged in February this year. They were supposed to get married in Rajasthan in November. Before the wedding, on June 6, all tickets and bookings for the pre-wedding photo shoot with four friends in Bali have already been finalised.
But Siya did not want Ketan to go out of the country. So, just before going to Bali, Siya sneakily steals Ketan’s passport! “All four were going to Bali together, but mysteriously only Ketan’s passport was stolen. Ketan was forced to return home crying as he didn’t even have a passport at the airport. We didn’t think it was a big trick by Sia,” said Vishal Aggarwal. In fact, Shia wanted to keep Ketan in the country so that he could take him to Lohagarh Fort and end his life.
