Additional Director General, NCC North East Regional Directorate, Major General Anurag BJ visited the NCC Special Training Camp at Kahilipara, Guwahati on Tuesday. The camp was organized by 7th Assam Battalion NCC and imparted special training to the cadets for the upcoming inter-departmental sports shooting competition.
During the visit, Major General B.J. Inquires about the progress of selection process and ongoing training of cadets. He is the schedule of shooting practiceGot comprehensive information about the training system and overall activities of the camp. To observe for himself the standard of preparation and facilities of the cadets, he visited the firing range and observed the ongoing exercises.
He then interacted with the cadets and disciplined themUrges to proceed with concentration and devotion. He said that hard work and perseverance are the keys to success. He urged every cadet to remain committed to their goals to uphold the reputation of the country and NCC.
The 40-day special training camp is currently being conducted at Girijanand Chowdhury University, Guwahati. More than 400 cadets from various North Eastern states are participating in this camp. They are undergoing special shooting training at the camp and participating in the selection process for national level competitions.
After the inspection, Major General BJ handed over the wristwatches to the cadets. His initiative created special enthusiasm among the cadets. His presence and advice boosted the morale and hard work of the participantsMakes the importance of persistence and team coordination more obvious.
