GUWAHATI: Congress leader Pawan Khera on Thursday, May 14, said he cooperated fully with investigators during his appearance before the Crime Branch and confirmed that he has been summoned again on May 25 in connection with the ongoing probe.

Speaking to the media after the interrogation, Khera said he responded to all queries put forward by the investigators and stressed that every responsible citizen should cooperate with investigative agencies.
“I was asked all the questions that are usually asked during an investigation. I have been called again on May 25, and I will appear again because every responsible citizen must cooperate with an investigation,” he said.
When asked whether he continued to stand by his earlier allegations concerning Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, Khera declined to comment. He said he would only respond to questions raised during the course of the investigation and would not discuss further details publicly.
