Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly slammed the central government for leaking question papers, canceling exams and delaying the recruitment process in competitive exams. He said, these incidents are not only administrative failure, but a direct blow to the dreams and future of millions of youth of the country.
In a post on social media X, Rahul Gandhi addressed the youth of the country saying that hard work is not valued today and it seems that those who dream are being punished. According to him, every paper leak, every canceled exam and incomplete recruitment process is not just a system failure but a blow to millions of dreams.
Rahul Gandhi added that he understands the frustration and anger of the youth. However, he called for expressing this anger together with a strong voice. “When the government doesn’t want to listen, people should speak up,” he said.
Rahul Gandhi has urged students and youth to join the ‘Students Echo’ program to be held in Kota, Rajasthan in June, saying the movement will start from Kota and spread to different parts of the country.
Rahul Gandhi urged the youth to come together and create a voice that the government cannot ignore. “This struggle is for the future of the youth, and he is with them,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Congress has intensified its agitation against irregularities in various competitive examinations including NEET and UGC-NET. The party alleged that the government has failed to protect the interests of students and job seekers.
Congress leaders and workers across the country staged protests in several cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Guwahati. They demanded strict action against those responsible for the irregularities.
According to the Congress, repeated paper leaks and disruptions in the recruitment process have made the future of millions of students in the country uncertain.
