Terrible revenge for returning the marriage proposal! A one and a half year old boy died at the hands of his lover


A tragic inhuman incident has come to light in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. Jitendra Pathak aka Viraj stabs her innocent 1.5-year-old child to death in revenge for rejecting a woman’s marriage proposal. The accused fled the spot after the brutal killing on Saturday and were later arrested after an encounter. In cross-examination, the accused admitted that he took this extreme step as he considered the child to be a hindrance to his marriage.

The accused wanted to marry the woman named Rati. However, Rati consistently rejected the offer citing her one-and-a-half-year-old son Arav. The victim’s family rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead. The woman lodged a police complaint against Viraj and the police immediately registered a case of murder and started an investigation.

Police received a tip-off that the accused was hiding at Bhudha Bharathara Chowk on Mainpuri Road. The deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Arun Kumar and 18-year-old Arun Kumar. Viraj, hiding in the forest, suddenly opened fire on the police. The police also fired in self-defence and the accused was shot in the leg. The police immediately took him into custody when he fell on the ground after being shot. Police recovered a country-made pistol, five rounds of bullets and two shells from the accused.

During interrogation, Viraj confesses that he was angry with Rati and planned to kill her because she rejected his marriage proposal saying she had children. Firozabad Superintendent of Police (City) Ravi Shankar Prasad said the police is gathering all the necessary evidence to file a chargesheet in the court soon and will try to ensure strictest punishment to the guilty. The injured accused is currently undergoing treatment and police are taking legal action in the matter.
