In his post on X-Handle, he wrote that this is the second IED blast by NSC-IM on an Assam Rifles convoy in Chumukedima within a week. He also alleged that the United Liberation Forces (ULF) had been involved in many attacks on security forces in the past., Assam (Alpha) and NSCM are working together.
However, There was no official confirmation from the government or administration that any rebel group was involved in the attack. Also, No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
