GUWAHATI: In an effort to improve civic discipline, the Tinsukia Municipal Board has rolled out the Hall of Shame campaign, using CCTV footage and LED screens to publicly identify alleged litterers and public urinators.

CCTV cameras installed across the town are capturing people involved in public urination and littering, with the footage being displayed on roadside LED screens.
The civic body asserts that the initiative is intended to promote civic responsibility and discourage repeated violations of cleanliness norms.
While many have praised the campaign as an innovative way to keep the town clean, others have raised concerns over privacy and the public display of alleged offenders.
