GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) on Wednesday, June 17, released the list of probable players for the upcoming 2026-27 Ranji Trophy season.

The comprehensive squad features a robust mix of 48 talents who will soon begin their preparations for India's premier domestic first-class cricket tournament.
According to a press release, the selected players are instructed to report for a preparatory camp at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on June 19, 2026.
The selection covers all bases, bringing together specialist top-order batters, a deep bench of wicketkeepers, and a highly varied bowling attack featuring spinners and pacers.
Notably, several prominent names have been included with a "Subject to Fitness" caveat. Notably, star batter Riyan Parag, among a few others, will need to prove their physical readiness before final selections are made.
Following are set of probable players selected by the ACA:
Batters and Openers: Denish Das, Rituraj Biswas, Sib Sankar Roy, Saahil Jain, Jay Borah, Nihar Deka, Pradyun Saikia, Rishav Das, Aman Singh, Jitu Ali, Nibir Deka, Danish Ahmed, Vishal Roy, Sourav Mousum Dihingia, and Riyan Parag (Subject to Fitness).
Wicketkeepers: Ruhinandan Pegu, Anurag Talukdar, Sumit Ghadigaonkar, Ayush Agarwal, and Roshan Topno.
Pace Bowlers: Mrinmoy Dutta, Abdul Ajij Kuraishi, Akash Sengupta, Dipjyoti Saikia, Bishal Newar, Hridip Deka, Rajdeep Handique, Safiqul Islam, Sunil Lachit, Darshan Rajbangshi (Subject to Fitness), Mukhtar Hussain (Subject to Fitness), Sadek Hussain (Subject to Fitness), and Dibakar Johri (Subject to Fitness).
