After the warm response from the audience to a song from the upcoming Assamese full-length film ‘Diflu’, the producers of the film have released the lively and upbeat title song, brightening it up in the ‘Diflu Nadi part’.
The song released on YouTube brings the world of ‘Deflu’ to life with beautiful visuals, melodious tunes and soulful performances by the artistes. The song is sung by Rakesh Ryan and Rupali Kashyap. The music is composed and composed by Zhekiv. Music is composed by Matrix, while mixing and mastering is done by Nav Medhi.
Unlike the previously released romantic song ‘Sargi Sapnon’, the title song reflects the joyful, playful and festive atmosphere of the film. The song is set in the beautiful rural backdrop of Assam and vividly conveys the passion, everyday humor and rich cultural heritage of rural life.
The song was conceived as the musical introduction to the film. “Every film has a song that gives the audience a first-hand experience of the world inside the film. For us, this top song embodies that identity. It celebrates the vibrancy, simplicity and warmth of rural life as well as the unique heritage and human life of Assam that makes it so unique that you feel one with the world – that’s our hope.”
Music director and producer Jacob said the title song is an attempt to present the title song in a contemporary manner with modern music, while staying connected to the roots of Assamese folk music. “This song is the heartbeat of the film. The combination of folk tunes and modern music gives it a familiar and fresh look. Our aim is to bring the joy and optimism of the film to the hearts of the audience.
The music video is directed by Nekib and shot by Uttam Kalita. The film’s colorful visuals, vibrant choreography and realistic rural setting celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Assam and give a glimpse of the film’s juicy yet meaningful story.
Apart from the title track, the film’s soundtrack includes ‘Sargi Sapan’, one of the last songs sung together by the late Zubin Garg and Gayatri Hazarika. There are also some other original songs sung by Rupali Kashyap, Rakesh Ryan and Montumani Shaikia. All the songs in the film have been composed and composed by Jakiv, while lyrics have been written by Nekib and Gargi Bhattacharya.
The film stars Amrita Gogoi, Subrat Deuri, Arun Nath, Arun Hazarika, Purnada Hazarika, Rajiv Dowari, Jyotishman Bora, Kanika Nath, Anirban Kalita, Ankur Baidya, Dr. Hitesh Barua, Seemashree Bora, Priyanshi Kashyap and Divyajyoti Bora. Veteran actress Mridula Barua played a special role there.
