Chat starts on Facebook Messenger. A woman named Nisha. Her name on Instagram is Poonam. His body was later found on the railway line. Initially, the police thought it was an accident. An autopsy revealed multiple deep head injuries. He was repeatedly hit with heavy objects.
Then the police started investigating the murder. Rajkot murder accused in Gujarat interrogated by police. In this incident, a 20-year-old youth named Piyush was arrested by the police. When asked, he said that the woman he was chatting with, Nisha and Poonam, was actually a man. His real name is Chandan. They were also in a live-in relationship. They didn’t even know during the live-in.
The incident first came to light in June when a rotting body was found on a railway track in a village in Rajkot. The body was wearing a saree. After the autopsy report indicated murder, the police started the investigation.
A youth named Piyush Kumar Kharwar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested after examining the CCTV footage and other aspects. During interrogation, he admitted that he crushed the head of Chandan alias Nisha alias Poonam and threw the body on the railway track.
According to the police, Piyush got into a relationship with Chandan thinking he was a woman. Later they started living together. But when approached, Chandan repeatedly avoided physical contact citing religious beliefs. The relationship takes a big turn when one day Piyush sees Chandan shaving his beard. Then he becomes suspicious and discovers that the man he believed to be a woman is actually a man. According to the police, Chandan hid his identity for the purpose of same-sex relationship.
Since the incident, the two had frequent fights. According to the investigators, Piyush wanted to get out of the relationship. Police said Piyush went to Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and then Gujarat’s Rajkot district for work, but Chandan followed him to different places to maintain the relationship.
Finally, on June 21, a heated argument broke out between the two at a factory in Rajkot’s Padavla village. Investigators claim that Piyush then took Chandan to a secluded spot near a railway line and hit him with a large stone. Later the body was buried with stones and an attempt was made to hide it.
