According to investigative sources, Chia revealed to them that she was not at all willing to marry Ketan. Not only this, she believed that if Ketan was killed, she would have plenty of time for her next marriage. He thought it would be at least three years. Chia made such a claim to investigators. Police suspect that her boyfriend Chetan wanted three years to marry her. Investigators are currently interrogating Chia to try to unravel the mystery spanning three years.
According to police sources, Chia and her boyfriend Chetan thought the easiest thing to do would be to get Ketan off the streets to get that wedding time. According to investigators, Chia and Chetan secretly went to Udaipur in Rajasthan last January and spent five days together. A few days later the engagement ceremony with Ketan took place. Police said Chetan is actually a resident of Rajasthan though he lives in Pune. Ketan was allegedly killed on June 18 after being pushed from the Lohagarh fort in Lonawala. Police have already arrested Chia and her boyfriend Chetan on this charge.
