The wedding was held at the historic Dhakeshwari temple in Bangladesh. The couple got married in the presence of the goddess.
Tasnuva Anan Shishi was born a man but later emerged as a woman. She got married to her lover in traditional Hindu rituals at the traditional Dhakeswari temple. The wedding ceremony has already gone viral on social media. There the dew is seen wearing the branches. She is also seen as a brand new bride with sandal on her head.
Earlier, Shishi made history as Bangladesh’s first hijra or gay newsreader by reading a news on Baisakhi TV on International Women’s Day.After facing various social challenges and obstacles in working in Bangladesh, she migrated to the United States. However, her recent traditional wedding marked the beginning of a new and revolutionary chapter beyond the borders of the country.
