GUWAHATI: An ocean-themed Ganesh Puja will bring an underwater-inspired ambience to Maligaon this Ganesh Chaturthi, with a uniquely designed pandal and a grand Varaha Avatar Ganesh idol set to be the main attraction.
The celebration will recreate the beauty and atmosphere of the ocean through the pandal’s design, offering visitors an immersive visual experience while retaining the traditional essence of the festival.
The festivities will begin with a grand opening on September 13, followed by the main puja rituals from September 14 to September 18. Devotees are expected to participate in the celebrations throughout the five-day festival.
The puja will be held at Kati Bihu Field near Golpark, Maligaon 11. The celebration is being planned with an estimated budget of around Rs 2.5 lakh.
This will be the first time the MG Boys organisers are introducing an ocean theme for the celebration, adding a distinctive element to the local Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
