Bihar’s Vaishali district court gave a historic verdict. The court will deliver its final verdict in 2026 after 34 years in a 1992 fatal assault case. On Monday, the court found the accused Deep Roy alias Jisha Roy guilty and reserved the verdict. After the final hearing on Tuesday, the court sentenced the 85-year-old accused to three years of rigorous imprisonment.
