GUWAHATI: A pickup truck collided with the railing of a railway overbridge on B. Barooah Road on the night of Monday, August 3, local police said.

The impact caused significant damage to the bridge railing, with a portion of it reportedly bent and dislodged from its base following the collision.
According to traffic police from the Latasil police station, the incident occurred late in the night, and no major injuries were reported among those in the vehicle or nearby.
The exact cause of the collision, whether due to speeding, mechanical failure, or poor visibility has not yet been ascertained.
