His 10-year-old brother Ashish Suryavanshi made his debut in the world of cricket following the footsteps of rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The teenager scored 103 runs from just 87 balls in a practice match at the Tajpur Cricket Academy in Samastipur.
Like his elder brother, Ashirwad batted in an aggressive style and hit 20 fours and a six in his brilliant innings. He scored a century at a strike rate of 118.39 to help his team win the match. 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was recently selected in the Indian T20 squad, was also happy with his younger brother’s performance.
Vaibhav, who recently won the Orange Cap for the most runs in the IPL, shared a picture of his brother and a screenshot of his score card on social media to “congratulate and bless” him.
Vaibhav, who is currently on tour of Sri Lanka for India A, scored a spectacular 44 off just 22 balls against Afghanistan A recently. While cricket fans are now eagerly awaiting Vaibhav’s debut at the international level, the emergence of younger brother Ashirbad in domestic cricket hints at another possible foray into the next cricket field.
