GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has announced that water supply will remain affected in certain areas of the city from June 25 to June 28 due to damage caused to a water pipeline during utility works carried out by another department.

According to the Guwahati Jal Board, residents in parts of Mandakini Path, particularly the hillside areas, and Bhogargaon Nizara Path are likely to experience disruption in water supply during the period.
The utility body stated that repair work is currently underway and normal water supply will be restored once the damaged pipeline has been repaired.
The Guwahati Jal Board expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers and sought their cooperation and understanding until the restoration work is completed.
