GUWAHATI: For travellers and resident on the Shillong–Dawki route, landslides and heavy water flow are becoming a harsh monsoon reality.
What was once an occasional disruption is increasingly becoming a recurring challenge for people.
Following a major landslide and heavy water flow, authorities have temporarily closed the highway and issued a travel advisory, urging commuters to take alternate routes via Sohra or Jowai.
