The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has reacted strongly to the theft of funds from the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to the Sangh, this is not just a simple theft, but a big blow to the trust and faith of crores of Ram devotees.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) General Secretary Dattatreya Hosbale said in a statement that the magnificent temple built at the birth place of Sri Ram is the result of generations of struggle and sacrifice of crores of devotees. So this unfortunate theft of the charity box has deeply hurt the sentiments of the entire Hindu community and Ram devotees. Everyone is very sad and angry about this incident.
He added that the Uttar Pradesh government had already constituted a special investigation team on the request of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and had started taking legal action based on it. Those who are found guilty in the investigation should ensure the strictest punishment.
Hosbele said it was the natural expectation of the entire Hindu community, including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), that the Trust would take this scandalous incident very seriously and take effective measures to rectify all the lapses in the management of the temple. He hoped that the temple management committee and the special investigation team would soon resolve the current atmosphere of confusion and uncertainty so that the faith of the devotees would be maintained.
He believes that through better financial management, clean system and holy environment, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust will once again be able to strengthen the faith and respect of the Hindu community.
Finally, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) appealed to the entire Hindu community to maintain patience and restraint during these difficult times. He appealed to all to foil the conspiracy of Hindu and anti-state forces who are taking advantage of this unfortunate incident to malign Hindu religion and society.
