‘They burnt everything,’ said Milind Suman, who planted 30,000 trees himself


After rising to fame as a supermodel, Milind Suman is another name who continues to inspire people from teenagers to old age as a fitness icon. He is particularly known for his incredible fitness and the nickname ‘Ironman’.

Milind’s performances in films and music videos have been appreciated by the audience. Almost no movie offers. Milind enjoys nature from exercise.

In a recent interview, she opened up about her absence from Hindi films and her personal life. In parallel, he brought up another issue – planting 30,000 trees at his home in Lonavala.

On Sonu Sharma’s YouTube channel, he tells the story of his personal commitment to greening the property and environment of Lonavala. “I have a plot in Lonavala where I planted more than thirty thousand trees myself. When I bought the land in 1997, I decided to plant trees here because earlier people had burnt and destroyed the entire area. Many times developers have cut trees to show the land, which is very sad,” says Milind.

Talking about her love for nature, she shared a workout video and expressed her passion for ‘Forest Birthing’. “Trees are my favorite thing in this world. I love the Japanese therapy shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing.’

In Japanese, shinrin means ‘forest’ and yoku means ‘bath’. It is a process where people immerse themselves in the greenery and experience the sights, sounds and smells. It is believed to help reduce stress and keep you physically fit.

Milind also talked about his acting career in the interview. “I don’t get many offers for Hindi films. Everyone asks me why I don’t do Hindi films now. However, I got a great response for playing Sam Manekash in Emergency and I was very happy with the role.”

He added, “Though I don’t get many offers for Hindi films, I get opportunities to work on the OTT platform. Recently I worked in the series The Royals. I was also in the fourth season of For More Shots Please! I do.”
